This week, on Thursday, we visited Willow Farm in Hickling. We arrived in style on a tractor and trailer and took a journey through our village.
We stopped on our way to the farm with sticky boards and collected wild flowers, wheat and barley. We also looked at dried mud from the bottom of the broad and noticed how it looked like a mosaic!
Finally we reached the farm and spent the rest of the day learning about moths, bees and the produce on the farm, we even sat in a humongous combine harvester! We also explored the farm all the way down to the broad.
What a beautiful place, what an amazing opportunity to learn about our local area and what lucky people we are to have visited!
