What a busy week...

Back to school...

What a busy week! This week we have been learning about telling the time in maths - not an easy thing to learn. We made our own clocks on Monday and used them throughout the week to help us with our learning.

In English we started to think about Pandas and what facts we actually knew about them. We then wrote lots of questions we wanted to find out...next week we hope to answer them!

Unfortunately cookery club had to be cancelled this week but the good news was we all got to cook together! Year R and 1 made fruit kebabs with chocolate drizzle and Year 2 created mini pizza quiches. They turned out beautifully and we all enjoyed them during Forest School session time.

Then on Thursday we had a dramatic day with a burst water pipe in Hickling! School was shut and we all moved camp to our federation school Sutton Infant School!
Everyone was very welcoming to us and it was nice to experience a day in a different school. We even went on a wander around Sutton village and visited the garden centre to look at the different fish! What a week!!

Letters from Antarctica...

Post makes people smile...

This week we independently wrote letters from Antarctica! We told our families what we saw whilst we were there and what we had endured...

The letters were so incredible that Miss Arnold nearly cried 5 times with tears of joy! We photocopied them and posted them into the letter box for our families to read.

We hope you like what's in them...

Another exciting week...

Learning about Malawi!

This week we welcomed Jos from the Norwich-Dedza partnership. She came into school to talk to the children about a school in Malawi that we are now partnered with. They listened to songs, got dressed up and even had a go at carrying water on their head!

Check out the photos below...
