We LOVE Outdoor Learning!
This week we went on a school trip to Sheringham Park. We went with Catfield Reception, Year 1 and 2 children and we had a really lovely time. The weather was quite kind and we got our activities in before the lunchtime rain!
We enjoyed bug hunting using new methods and equipment, we made some natural art and went pond dipping. We also came home with a National Trust book of outdoor learning adventures. A great day was had by all!
Have a look below at the creatures we found...

First Week Back!
Busy, busy, busy!
This week we had a really varied week at school with lots of outdoor learning, taking advantage of the beautiful weather!
We started our learning about plants. We each planted our own sunflower seeds for the start of our competition to see who can grow the tallest?
Year 1 and Reception had Road Safety Training by Norfolk County Council. Year 1 then went outside onto the road and did some practical training.
Finally, we've started to make some changes to our reading area...below is a sneaky peak of our work. Can you guess what it is going to be?

Forest School Day...
Our Marble Jar Treat...
We had a damp but delightful time down in Bluebell Woods near the church in Hickling! Thanks to Mr Ellis for letting us use his private woodland area.
We had a fantastic time building dens, climbing trees and swinging on homemade swings! We even got a letter from the Easter bunny and had to go on an egg hunt!
